Commission structure
The PartyGammon.com commission structure is very simple, with no hidden charges.
Our commission is capped at only $5 per player regardless of wager value.
The higher the stakes the better the value at PartyGammon.com.
Commission is collected as follows:
Single game
| Combined wager | Commission % |
|---|---|
| $0 - $49.99 | 6% |
| $50 - $99.99 | 5% |
| $100 + | 4% |
Match games
| Combined wager | Commission % | Max. commission % (CAP) or up to $5 per player at the higher stake levels |
|---|---|---|
| $0 - $49.99 | 4%* | Up to 7%* |
| $50 - $99.99 | 3%* | Up to 6%* |
| $100 + | 2.75%* | Up to 5%* (Max $5) |
| *Plus an additional commission of 0.25% for each additional point scored above one in the overall match. CAP will limit this amount. | ||
- A maximum $5 commission (CAP) per player for both single and match games
Here is an example of how the $5 CAP can benefit you:
| Combined wager | Commission cap |
|---|---|
| $50 USD | $1.25 USD or 5% per player (no CAP) |
| $300 USD | $5 USD or 3.33% per player instead of $6 USD or 4% per player |
| $500 USD | $5 USD or only 1% per player instead of $10 USD or 4% per player |
- All commissions paid by the winner
- The combined wager in single games is equal to both players' initial stake multiplied by the doubling cube at the end of the game (the pot)
- The combined wager in the match is equal to both players’ initial stake (the pot)
Gammon multiplies the combined wager by two and backgammon multiplies the combined wager by three, except where either the Jacoby rule is enforced in single games or the players have set limits when creating the game.
