Disconnection Policy:
Except as otherwise expressly stated in writing by PartyGammon.com, the following Terms and Conditions set forth the rules and procedures that govern all players' rights in the event of disconnection and game cancellation.
Disconnect Protection is a tool implemented to protect players in the event that their Internet connection is inadvertently lost while they are involved in a match. If a player is disconnected, that player will be allowed to continue the game (provided he or she has Disconnect Protection available).
Disconnect Protection is in no way intended to be used for any purpose other than a genuine disconnection. Any misuse of this policy by intentionally disconnecting from PartyGammon.com software may result in forfeiture of any monies won, tournament disqualification, the loss of the Disconnection Protection privilege, or expulsion from the site.
Players must accept the risk of disconnection. Disconnections can and do occur. In the event of a disconnection, please log back on and continue play as quickly as possible. To limit potential disconnection difficulties, please consult with your ISP as to what measures can be initiated to help reduce this risk. At no time will PartyGammon.com assume responsibility for disconnected players, regardless of cause.
PartyGammon.com reserves the right to alter this policy, and render final decisions made on all matters herein, at its sole discretion. Policy changes and relevant decisions will be communicated accordingly via PartyGammon.com via electronic and/or written means.

Cash Games (single and match) Disconnection Policy:
Players are deemed disconnected if they do not act on their roll before both the local timer and global timer expires.
- Each player will have three (3) minutes to reconnect and resume the game. If a player does not return to the board within the allocated three (3) minutes, he or she will lose.
- If a player has been disconnected twice in a cash game and he or she has returned to resume the game, a third disconnection will result in the automatic loss.
- Frequent disconnections, or abuse of the Disconnection Policy, will lead to a warning, and may result in penalties, such as a ban from playing on the site.
Cancellation Policy
This document explains the strategy adopted by PartyGammon for crash settlement for single games, matches/series games and tournaments in various states of the games/matches/tournaments.
1. Single Game
Use case1.1 - Server crash when a game has been created but not
joined by any other player
The complete amount (stake + commission) will be refunded back to the
player.
Use case1.2 - Server crash when a game has been joined by another
player but game not started
The complete amount (stake + commission) will be refunded back to the
player.
Use case1.3 - Server crash during a game
System will use BgBlitz analyzer tool to analyze the game. Each player will get
as per the winning probability returned by BgBlitz out of the total stake (not
the commission) money.
2. Matches/Series Games
Use case2.1 - Server crash when a match has been created but not
joined by any other player
The complete amount (stake + commission) will be refunded back to the
player.
Use case2.2 - Server crash when a match has been joined by another
player but no game started
The complete amount (stake + commission) will be refunded back to the
players.
Use case2.3 - Server crash during a game
System will use BgBlitz analyzer tool to analyze the match by taking into
consideration the scores of all the finished games and state of the current
unfinished game. Each player will get as per the winning probability returned
by BgBlitz out of the total stake (not the commission) money.
3. Tournaments
The strategy described below is for both Sit & Go as well as Regular tournaments.
Use case3.1 - Server crash when registration has been started and
few players registered
The complete amount (buyin + entry fee) is refunded back to the players.
Use case3.2 - Server crash when registration is closed but
tournament not yet started
There is no automatic settlement for such tournaments. The status of
tournaments in this state is supposed to be changed by administrator.
Use case3.3 - Server crash during first round
- When no game has been finished – The winning probability is determined by the BgBlitz for each player and is paid accordingly along with the entry fee.
- When some games have been finished – Those players who have lost the game/match will not be refunded any amount. The winners will be paid an amount double the buy-in but not the entry fee. Rest of the players will be paid an amount as per the winning probability determined by BgBlitz along with the entry fee..
- When all the games have been finished – This is the case of higher round and is discussed in the next section.
- When some players have got a “bye” into the next round and some players are in the middle of games/matches – All the players who have got a bye will be refunded back the full money (buyin + entry fee). For the players who are in the middle of the game, the amount to be paid back from the probability of winning determined by BgBlitz along with the entry fee.
- When some players have got a “bye” into the next round and rest all have finished the games/matches – This is the case of higher round and is taken up in the next section.
Use case3.4 - Server crash during higher rounds
The amount to be settled is the one left after deducting amount already paid
(if any) to the losers of the previous rounds as per the payout structure. The
crash settlement has to be determined out of the remaining balance amount as
per the following rules.
- When no game/match has been finished – System calculates the amount to be
distributed equally among all the games/matches (2*balance amount/number of
players in this round). BgBlitz determines the winning probability for each
games/matches, according to which players are paid.
E.g.
Number of players in this round = 8
Prize pool = 150$.
Amount already paid to the players lost in the previous rounds = 20$.
Balance amount = 150 – 20 = 130$
Amount for each game/match in this round = 2*130/8 = 32.5$
For a game/match, the player who has got a 0.75 probability of winning gets 0.75*32.5$ and the other player of this game/match gets 0.25*32.5$. - When some games/matches have been finished – System calculates the amount
to be distributed equally among all the games/matches (2*balance amount/number
of players in this round). The winners of the games/matches get full amount so
calculated. And for unfinished games/matches, BgBlitz determines the winning
probability for each game/match, according to which players are paid. The
players who lost the game/match are not paid anything.
E.g.
Number of players in this round = 8
Prize pool = 150$
Amount already paid to the players lost in the previous rounds = 20$
Balance amount = 150 – 20 = 130$
Amount for each game/match in this round = 2*130/8 = 32.5$
Let’s assume that one game/match A has been finished and three games/matches (B,C,D) were going on when crash occurs. Amount for winner of the game/match A = 32.5$ Amount for players of games/matches (B,C,D) is decided by the probability returned by BgBlitz for each player. - When all the games/matches have been finished – The tournament has gone into the next round.
